As a licensed architect with 18 years of experience as a practicing architect and urbanist she leads MCB Architecture Design and Consulting. As an architect, but also an Army Wife, she has moved enough to see the changes in community development patterns through out the country. With a background of architecture she has focused on new urbanist master planning projects in the Washington DC, Northern Virginia, South Florida and Texas. In recent years she has been an architect and planner as part of a design team working on bringing these New Urbanist ideas to military master planning projects in Washington State and Japan. Most recently this design team won the American Planning Association – Federal Planning Division Best Sustainable Neighborhood Award in both 2009 and 2010 for these projects.

Ms. Brandrup is the 2011 Recipient of the Texas Society of Architects Award for Young Professional Achievement, Past-President of the American Institute of Architects, El Paso chapter, served on the El Paso Historic Landmark Commission, El Paso Planning Commission, and is a member of the United States Green Building Council- Chihuahuan Desert Chapter. She is also on the Board of Advisors for Tulane University, School of Architecture where she received both a Bachelor and Masters of Architecture. As a founding member of the Non-Profit Eco El Paso she has been a huge proponent for green building and sustainable design in the El Paso community.

Currently the Brandrup Family has made their final move to the Vail Valley where she is working on residential projects and sustainable planning initiatives. Having worked closely with development companies in executing various planning studies, proformas, and housing typologies, she eagerly brings that knowledge to development projects in her new home.
